Last week I posted on social media the book I was reading {see below!} and a few friends asked me to share my list of other books I wanted to read. I FINALLY got around to making a list! I feel like there is not enough time for all the books I want to read! But seriously, I do love to read. Below is what I am currently reading and then the ones I want to read, in no particular order! If you have any other recommendations, send them my way!

PS – It’s Amazon Prime Day! A good day to buy some new books.

I’m currently reading Cultivate: A Grace-Filled Guide to Growing an Intentional Life – by Lara Casey. I’m almost finished with this one. I love it so far! A way to learn how to slow down and focus on what matters the most.

The Magic of Motherhood: The Good Stuff, the Hard Stuff, and Everything In Between – by Ashlee Gadd. The title of this one caught my eyes. Motherhood so far has had so many experiences. I look forward to all the steps of it!

Chasing Slow: Courage to Journey Off the Beaten Path – by Erin Loechner. We live in a world so fast-paced. It seems people are afraid to slow down. Sometimes God makes us do that. Take a break and grow slow.

Anything by Liane Moriarty. I love her books so far! I’ve read The Husband’s Secret and Big Little Lies. I recommend both! What’s your favorite by her?! I can’t decide what to go with next.

Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely – by Lysa TerKeurst. I’ve heard good things about this one so I am curious to check it out!

You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth – by Jen Sincero. I read her book You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life and loved it. Obviously if you aren’t up for F bombs and other fun words, don’t read this. Otherwise if you want someone to tell you how awesome you are, read this!

Strong and Kind: Raising Kids of Character – by Korie Robertson. She has children that love the Lord, themselves, and remain humble even in the spotlight of today’s crazy world. I’m definitely curious to hear her perspective!

Present Over Perfect: Leaving Behind Frantic for a Simpler, More Soulful Way of Living – by Shauna Niequist. Seriously the title of this one says enough. So much of daily life is trying to be perfect. I was actually writing in my Write the Word journal how I’m realizing I don’t have to be perfect in it. I also want my handwriting perfect. The pen color to be perfect. None of that is necessary! Embrace you.

The Best Yes: Making Wise Decisions in the Midst of Endless Demands – by Lysa TerKeurst. Same with Uninvited, I’ve heard great things. I’ve never read anything by Lysa so I am curious.

I have Girl Code: Unlocking the Secrets to Success, Sanity, and Happiness for the Female Entrepreneur – by Cara Alwill Leyba on my Kindle app, but I haven’t read it yet though! There is just something about holding a book that I prefer over reading it on my iPad.

Ok, I think this is all for now! I’m sure I could think of many more. I’m always up for hearing what you are reading and what you loved and not so much. Comment below and let me know!

Anyone want to donate to my book fund? I think I need it. Kidding!

Kind of.
